Cuadrilla have gambled EVERYTHING on fracking in the UK, and the Government have gambled on Cuadrilla being their posterboys. Their plan was - and is - to showcase how easy it is to frack in the UK and to roll this model out to the rest of Europe - specifically the Netherlands and France, where there is no fracking taking place at the moment. Well, you have put the kibosh on that. Fracking in the UK is no pushover. Cuadrilla desperately need to get a return on £37m private equity money is behind them and every minute you delay them is frustrating this and undermining the confidence of their investors. It cannot be overstated how important it is that we highlight how fracking is a rubbish investment and you have done a fantastic job in illustrating this. Have no doubt, despite the bluster they are on their knees.
