Nick Smith spoke to the EDS conference and retold the same old narrative about how National is protecting the dolphins and removing the threats from where they reside. Unfortunately, there are still nets in most of their habitat. He also talked about 100% fishing observer coverage in their habitat but thats in fact only in a limited part of their range - and counts for little when observers are below deck counting fish for 99% of the time. Dont believe the spin, no matter how polished it is.
