Nicknamed the ‘Quonset Hut’ for its unique barrel-shaped nave, the original Christ Episcopal Church was constructed in 1962 in Aspen’s Historic West End. After numerous alterations and minor additions, the CEC sought to unify and update the aging and inefficient structure through a significant renovation and addition effort.
