Niger State Government receives White Paper Report on Justice Aisha Bawa Bwari Commission of Inquiry The Commissioner for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Isah Liman Kantigi has received the White Paper Report of Justice Aisha Bawa Bwari Judicial Commission of Inquiry. Presenting the report, the chairman of the committee, Alhaji Muhammad Ndatsu said the report contained all details as well as recommendation on the two indicted local government chairmen of Rafi and Borgu. He stated that the committee took its time to come up with a comprehensive report on all the allegations levelled against the two chairmen. Responding, the Commissioner thanked the committee for its work and assured that, on its own part, government would go through the report and recommendations with a view to taking necessary action against the two parties. It could be recalled that Justice Aisha Bawa Bwari Judicial Commission of Inquiry was constituted earlier this year to investigate allegations of impropriety and fraudulent conduct against the chairmen of Borgu and Rafi Local Government Councils.
