Nigeria Needs our Prayers! Whether by accident or by design, the armed forces of our federation are suffering heavy losses in the war against BH. Sometimes these losses are reported in the news; sometimes never at all! Just last night, we were told, the BH ambushed or raid a military convoy or arrangement among those killed was a full army colonel who until very recently was an instructor on peace keepin in jaji. A colonel is never created in day: it takes years of investment to create a colonel or his equivalent in other branches of the armed forces. It is a great loss. The magnitude of the loss on the entire armed forces and the nation can only be imagined by one who knows that not all such casualties are reported in the news. Nigeria needs our prayers; for no country can survive such sustained losses in the hands of insurgents. I pray that Allah (SWT) protect the good officers and men of our armed forces wherever they may be as they struggle to make our country a safe place to live. May Allah forgive the sins of Col. Kabiru Salisu and give his family the fortitude to bear this loss.
