Nigeria drops in FIFA rankings 28 November 2013, 13:03 - Most Read Zurich - The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped three places in the latest FIFA rankings released by the World Football Governing Body on Thursday. Nigeria was ranked 33rd in the world in October but dropped to 36th in the November rankings. The Stephen Keshi led side however maintained their fourth position on the continent of Africa. Nigeria have played four games between October and November, winning two, with one draw and a loss. The team booked a ticket to qualify for the 2014 World Cup after defeating Ethiopia in a two-legged encounter. Ivory Coast maintained the top spot on the continent, and are trailed by Ghana and Algeria. Egypt moved up from eighth to fifth position, while Cape Verde stayed put on sixth spot.
