Nigeria is one of the largest producers of pure crude oil in the world, with 4 grounded refineries. The country remain one of the countries that faces domestic fuel scarcity. N11trn spent on kerosene subsidy yet the price is almost N130 per litre across the nation. NNPC claimed to supply kerosene to some mega stations to sell at retail price of N50, yet kerosene is not available for domestic consumption. Since 2011 till date the supply of kerosene supply to Lagos for domestic use is less than 10million litres talk less of the other less populated state. Nigerians should demand for the account of the N11trn subsidised fee on kerosene from 2011 till date. Nigerians should ask why the 4 refinaries are not well maintained and why are we still relaying on foreign supply of domestic fuel. The missing $20bn can put the 4 refinaries to a better state and to even add a modern facilities and increase in storage capacity. What happened in Egypt before revolution was not as worst as this, why are we so silent most especially the youths we deserve the right to probe this administration, this is democracy. It is the job of the president to present budget to the house, I wonder why is the finance minister. The president should give the nation a tangible reason for the suspension of the formal CBN governor (sanusi). The president have shuffled his cabinets more than 2 times yet no economy improvement. The nation is not as worse as this in terms of domestic need in the past. Is democracy really favouring ? Terrorism here and there, is it as a result of monopoly of power? Or diplomacy feedback? Corrections should be made. The nation is planning national sovereign conference, good it might be the sited solution for the national problems, but have we forgotten their is tribal discrimination crisis among the ethnic group that makes the country? Hope the conference that was suggested to re position the nation deliver success and solutions,but hope it will not lead to eruption of another civil war. Previously it was Niger delta militants now Boko haram who knows what is coming next. May God guide our dear nation to stability.
