Night 1 down. This is going to be tough. Lance is so strong. Thankful to be at UAB with good pain management in place. Weve been in his room for about 6 hours. We have had very little sleep. His mom Dianne, stayed the night with us too. For circulation purposes, the have to keep his room warm.. I believe they have the heat on! The nurse said it had to stay at 80•. So its been HOT! She checked his thumb a few times during the night and said that the color has changed some (which is what we want). The plastics team will be making their rounds hopefully soon! He gets a regular diet here soon! Yay! Only restrictions are no caffeine and no chocolate. Thanks again for all the prayers. Ill try not to blow your newsfeed up today!
