Night ride report – Wednesday 24th July + whats happening this weekend It just keeps getting bigger and better! 16 riders out last night (I think that’s officially a peloton!) for a great 19 mile loop around the local villages. Lots of visitors from other clubs which was great and we look forward to riding out with you all again. Pace was high, gold was in abundance and banter was top of the agenda – some great chat, lovely folk and another cracking evening out on the bike. Same again next week and maybe a cheeky and informal ten mile TT the following week?? Ref this weekend – Friday 26th july – meet flintham cricket club 18.30 for circa 2 hour road ride. If youre not doing this and racing out on mtb’s instead have a great ride out and make sure the bucket doesn’t fall off the handle bars! Saturday 27th july – meet flintham cricket club at 13.00 (drop me a line on [email protected] if you youre meeting at the club so we can make sure we have enough cars) or meet at Shawcroft car park, park road, ashbourne de6 1dg at 14.30. 40 mile hilly road ride through some beautiful south peaks countryside Sunday 28th july – club ride, circa 40 mile road loop with coffee and cake. Meet at flintham cricket pavilion from 09.30 Weather looks great for all of the above. Its an open house too with everyone welcome. Looking forward to the rides!
