Ninety years ago today my father came into the world. He loved God and my Mother more than anything in the world. He lived his life every day waiting to go to heaven, and he was prepared to do that at a moments notice. I grew up in a home where grace was said before every meal, and seeing my father kneel to pray was a daily occurrence. Many times as a child I could hear my father in the woods behind our house praying, i never thought about why he would go into the woods to pray when I was growing up, but looking back I think perhaps being alone with nature and God was a special time for him to be alone with God. Those memories are now priceless to me. Happy birthday daddy. I love and miss you more with each passing day. I know your birthdays are now the best as you get to spend them with God and mom.
