Learn the way of Spinjitzu, build the Fire Temple, race Skull Trucks and encounter the mighty Dragon! Imagine and build unique and fun projects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor while exploring the fantasy world of Ninjago. This is an ideal way to prepare young Ninjaneers for the challenge of Ninjaneering Master with LEGOs. Ninjaneering Masters with LEGO AGES: Entering grades 3-5 DATES: July 21-July 25 TIME: 1:00- 4:00pm WHERE: 1835 Town Hall FEE: $140.00/session Master the world of Ninjago by becoming a Ninjaneer! Tame the Ice Dragon, motorize your Blade Cycle, design the Dark Fortress, and hone your Spinjitzu battle skills! In this advanced LEGO program, Ninjaneering Masters will learn the real world concepts in physics, engineering and architecture while exploring the fantasy world of Ninjago. MAD SCIENCE AGES: Entering grades 2-4 DATES: July 7-11 TIMES: 9:00am-1:00pm WHERE: Chocksett Middle School Science room FEE: $185.00 Do you enjoy doing experiments?? This course is a fun way to experience all kinds of science through hands on learning. We will do experiments in chemistry, biology, anatomy, physics, and other related subjects. Kids will have great fun experimenting with different materials to bring about fun and surprising results. The course price includes all materials and lunch will be made on the last day of camp. Children can bring lunch for the remainder of the day as class will end at 1PM. SPEED, POWER & AGILITY CLINIC AGES: Entering grades 6-12 DATES: July 14-18 TIMES: 9:00am-12:00pm WHERE: Griffin Road Track FEE: $100 Learn the secrets and techniques critical to developing superior speed and power for better performance in all sports. This clinic will include: acceleration & first step quickness, proper arm action for fluid running motion, power development for jumping and sprinting. If you play sports, you need speed! Great for soccer, lacrosse, hockey, track, basketball and softball. 15 total hours of instruction taught by nationally certified strength and conditioning coach, and Mayo Elementary Physical Education Teacher, Dan Wilde.
