Nita is a beautiful, AVERAGE-rated girl whose hours are numbered: this is her second night on the list! Dont let her end up in a black freezer bag; offer to adopt or foster her NOW! A volunteer writes: There is no way I could not fall in love with Nita… She has the best of both worlds that shows in her looks (like a slap in the face) and her behavior. She has the exuberance of a Lab and the goofiness of a Pitie. I am just crazy about her….She is big although not overweight. She is a lot of dog…She is gorgeous in her flawless golden coat and her smile as well as her pout are unmatchable. Her look is forward to let me know what she wants …Mainly to play, jump in my arms, oblivious of her 74 pounds…and wash my face with her huge tongue. Basically, she is a tomboy. She has been a momma once upon a time an might have been an outdoor dog. Nita walks surprisingly well on the leash, pulling sometimes. She eliminates outside the building. She seems fine with dogs met on the way and sometimes barks at them while in a large pen. Nita (this is only her given name) comes right away at the call of her name. She sits on command at my feet although I know she would rather come on my lap. She takes food daintily from my hand but I have no doubt that given a chance she must gulp her food with great appetite. Nita is my dream dog in the large dogs department…..She is gorgeous (really breathtaking), big (there is a lot of dog to pet), playful, lively and super affectionate. She most likely needs a little bit of training to smoothen her manners. A caring and loving master will take care of this. Nita is at the Manhattan Care Center. She is a must to meet and adopt as your forever best friend.
