No, Nurse Ratched, I am NOT getting on the scale just because you say I have to because I was in there for a minor skin irritation and wanted to be sure it wasnt something worse. I know I dont have to do ANYTHING I dont want and my weight is not pertinent to this type of ailment. Should it have been determined I needed an antibiotic (not needed), you would give me the same dose youd give my skinny friends or my husband who weighs 80 pounds more or so. Do not take an attitude with me when I offer my approximate weight like it matters that much. She did back down from her pedestal but I wonder if my BP spike was partially related to my reaction to needing to do more than say NO once. It is about control and with my history - not going to do it. I remember one jackass I used to work for put out a memo to his nurse that women were not to be allowed to remove their shoes to be weighed? I dont THINK so.
