No attorney in their right mind is going to demand that a civilian solve a crime that has been reported to the police. This is totally stupid. And isnt it convenient that the ONLY thing stolen is Pipers papers that she said she was going to make disappear? Really? Do they think we are all stupid? Now she has changed her police report. When the truth comes out, I hope she is charged with filing a false report with police. She has lied about this from the very beginning and I dont see anything in the law in OHIO saying that a rescue has the right to withhold a dog from their LEGAL owner who has made every effort to do the right thing by their dog. This needs to STOP now and Veronicas dog needs to be returned to HER. She has proven the dog is her property. The moment the idea is admitted into society that property is not as sacred as the law of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. John Adams Have we come so far from the principles of our founding fathers that we believe an organization has the right to remove our property without our permission and withhold it from a legal owner because they think it is the right thing for the dog? The owner is the only one who can determine what is the right thing for HER DOG. Penny needs to do the right thing and return the dog to Veronica. But I have reached the point where I believe the only way that will happen is if the courts force her to return Piper.
