No condemnation if you aint there yet, but.......Halloween has it - TopicsExpress

No condemnation if you aint there yet, but.......Halloween has it origins in Celtic (pronounced Keltic) Folklore. They lived in what today is the British Isles. Halloween, All Saints Day, All Hallows Eve, All Souls Day was a festival held to honor Samhein (pronounced Sow an) Lord of Death. It was the beginning of the Celtic new year, a time to give thanks to the sun god for the harvest and also the beginning of the Wicken (witchcraft) new year. DONT SOUND LIKE SOMETHING I WANT TO CELEBRATE. But anyhow, it is believed that on the eve of this night Samhein, lord of death, called together the wicked spirits that had been condemned to inhabit the bodies of animals. HENCE, COSTUMES were worn by Celtic people in order to blend in and disquise themselves from these spirits. And when Halloween was first celebrated in America, the costumes worn were only witches, vampires, devils, werewolfs, anything evil. I REMEMBER THOSE DAYS! TRICK OR TREAT - On this night, when the souls of the dead returned, it was believed that if food and shelter was not provided, these evil spirits would wreak havoc and cast spells if these requests for food were not fulfilled, hence TRICK OR TREAT! ( AND NOT JUST TOILET PAPER IN YOUR TREE). 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. What we must realize is that the enemy is after our children.....The enemy has had most of us. He had his way with us and we hit bottom. Then we cried out to the Lord and mercifully He Saved us. But our babies are defenseless. And our children are dying on a daily basis. THIS IS NOT A HARMLESS HOLIDAY. And yes, believe it or not, it is considered a holiday. ANYTHING YOU GLORIFY YOU GIVE POWER TO. Please receive this is love. I am presenting you with this truth. What you do with it is up to you. May God give you revelation. Once this truth was presented to our ministry by Bishop Donald O. Clay, Jr., I said NEVER AGAIN. John 8:32 (NKJV) 32) And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
