No man is greater than his prayer life. - Leonard Ravenhill Prayer is so often the most neglected ministry of all. Too often we spend our ministerial lives scrambling to find new methods, techniques and schemes upon which to prop up what eventually becomes a mere monument to human effort rather than upon cultivating the Hope of Glory which resides in us. It is impossible to pray too much, and most of us pray too little. We say we want revival, but the truth for most of us is that we want great numbers to flock to our venues, our teaching, our programs, our churches. If genuine revival was what we wanted, how we would weep between the porch and the altar! How our hearts would be shattered for the souls trudging their merry way to damnation! How our spirits would groan and wail before God that he would have mercy on the lives around us!
