No team honors its history and tradition like the Yankees, and Joe Torre Day was a letter-perfect tribute. In revisiting Torres triumphs with the Yankees, were also reminded of his class and leadership during the emotional-wrenching 2001 postseason, just weeks after 9/11. Joe asked his good pal Yogi for an It Aint Over Til Its Over cap, had FDNY and NYPD patches sewn on, and wore it proudly throughout that tumultuous playoffs and World Series.
