No , this is not fight for ISLAM. Neither , this is a fight between Sunnis & Shias. Its , not Islam or Muslims. With the spreading / advancing of Islam , a couple of decades of Prophets ( PBUH) demise , the center of power ( capital ) Medinah in the province / area of Hijaz from Arabian peninsula shifted to ( in ) areas now in Iraq / Syria ( Damascus ). Islam , now was the prevalent religion towards / around , Asia & Africa. Its , fast spread / growth was now in whole of North Africa / Spain / India , far east & central Asia. [ Muslim governance was now established in Spain / Persia / North Africa / India & Central Asia ]. INTRESTINGLY, IN ALL OF THE ABOVE DOMAINS OF MUSLIM EMPIRE , all other religions e.g. Christians / Hebrews / Hindus / Atheists / Monotheists / Zorashtrians WERE ALLOWED TO WORSHIP ( ACCORDING TO THEIR BELIEFS ) had their temples / worship places / schools / arts & crafts. Yes , Islam as any other ( people of the book ) or otherwise had / had different SCHOOLS of provisional growth [ like four main sects of Sunnis / Shias & Ismailis / Ehle Hadees ] etc etc . Anyhow, Muslims ruled India for 11centuries / Spain for 7 centuries & Ottoman empire . BUT DURING / IN / UNDER , THESE MUSLIM RULERS / DOMAINS all religions prevailed / flourished / thrived / lived & existed. Even , a few years ago TARIQ AZIZ ( foreign minister ) OF IRAQ IN SADDAM HUSSAINS GOVT. was a CHRISTIAN. RAJA MAN SINGH ( of Amer - Rajasthan , India ) was the COMMANDER IN CHIEF of Muslim ruler AKBER ( Mughal ) his decendant Raja Jai Singh ( founder of Jaipur - India ) was COMMANDER IN CHIEF of Mughal Empror AURANGZEB. Anyhow , what kind of Islam is this of Isis ( Islamic state of Syria & Iraq ) ? The Said tribe from Najd province in Arabian Peninsula were vagabonds / robbers ( declared / wanted & persecuted ) from 18th century in Ottoman domain . In , the same century an Abdul Wahab ( persecuted / expelled ) from his own tribe / family / father ( a Muslim Qazi - Judge ) & brother ( who wrote a book against the insurgent beliefs of Abdul Wahab ) made / allowed refuge / alliance with Saud tribe for their QUEST OF POWER. AND , HOW during the first WW Abdul Aziz Al Saud ALLYING WITH BRITISH FORCES fought against Ottoman rule in Arabian peninsula & after the defeat of KHILAFAT E USMANIA ( OTTOMANS ) , he Abdul Aziz gave a BLOOD BATH TO CITIES OF TAIF / JEDDAH / MECCA & as the SHAREEF of Mecca was forced in exile DECLSRED - SAUDI ARABIA. AND , now - whats going on in Muslims ( in WEAK so called Arab domains ) & in Pakistan ? THERE ARE NO MOSQUES / TEMPLES OR PLACES OF WORSHIP or SCHOOLS IN Saudi Arabia OF OTHER RELIGIONS OR SECTS.
