No, we are not bashing the Chinese people but listening to so many people, so many different levels of society about all the problems Chinese are bringing to our world, it just seems that they have a very very very bad name indeed: at a luxury shop in Melbourne yesterday, a commotion. Three chinese were arguing loudly with the sales girls at the check out counter: what all high voices and angry looks were all about? the Chinese people wanted to take PHOTOS of some of the items in the shop, Australian Aboriginal artworks on the wall. When they were told they could not do that, making photographs, they became very agitated and threw abuse to the sales staff and finally also to the security officer who was called from the front. When the Chinese finally were escorted out, we had a talk with the sales staff and we were told this: *the worst customers for us are the Chinese. They think they *own* us, they copy everything we have, they check our goods (luxury Australia made) and try to always sneak in photos. Not only that, they are rude. Mind you, those Chinese are NOT the Chinese from HK who live in Australia but the mainland Chinese who are visiting our country*. and this is just ONE story....the Ghana Minister wants to throw ALL Chinese out of Ghana because they illegally mine and kill (everything that can move, such as snakes and parrots, the Chinese miners kill and cook/eat) and are NOT contributing to Ghana (although the Ghanese Govt had been promised money for schools and hospitals, nothing has happened in that respect at all). So.. we are not China bashing but... nugh said.
