Noah Davis, a freelancer whos written for The Awl, Grantland, and a zillion other up and coming (and paying) places, is speaking to my Entrepreneurial Journalism class Wednesday 1/29 (tomorrow) at 1:30. He does a lot of sports reporting and is about to head to the Olympics in Russia. Hell talk about pitching, working on a start up news site about American soccers, and the freelance life in general. A great speaker. Location is HUM 313. Its not a large classroom but well squeeze as many people in as we can. And Cat Tacopina might even want to have an Oracle reporter there.
