Noah was very entertaining, but I must admit I was very disappointed. Positives: It revealed the sinfulness of man, the judgment of God, and the preservation of a remnant. The acting and cinematography were stellar. Negatives: It portrayed God as silent - He does not speak to Noah save in two very vague dreams, and multiple times people call upon God and He does not answer. This violates Genesis 6, where it explicitly reports God speaking to Noah. The wives of Ham and Japheth...without spoiling too much, the film does not do justice to the wives entering the ark with the sons of Noah. I first thought the modification would be better, but it turns out to be very disturbing. Noah interprets the flood in a very environmentalist way, and attempts to kill all humanity because man destroys nature. I kid you not. You could take the ending as evidence that the film sides against environmentalism, or you could take it as a final verification of Al Gore... There is a complication with Ham. I dont want to spoil it. Blake FaulknerVivek Subramanyam
