Nobody Remembers a Quitter!! Stay on! A teenger had decided to quit high school saying he was fed up with it all. His father was trying to convince him to keep up his education!Son,he said,you just cant quit. All the people who are remember in history didnt quit; Thomas Edison-he didnt quit! Douglas mac Arthur - he didnt quit, Nelson Mandela -didnt quit, M.K.O Abiola - he didnt quit,Elmo mc Cringle...Who is that?The son quickly interrupted him! Who is Elmo mcCringle? The concerned father replied soberly.You dont remember him? He was a quitter! Oh,what a lesson! Someone once made the observation,By perseverance the snail reached the ark. Going anywhere for a snail is a marathon. Getting to the finish line is a marathon of marathons. Truly,the world will only remember those who refused to quit! Once you quit,you are dumped into the dustbin of history,never to be recycled! You must persevere this year and detemine to go through any necessery tough time to achieve your goals and expectations for you life,family and ministry! The only place free from problems is a graveyard! Just last year,a plane conveying a late former governor of Ondo State,Nigeria to his final resting place,crashed on take -off killing 17 souls and his casket was retrieved from the plane! So,in some cases,even the dead now have no peace! Never forget through this year,that tough times dont last,but tough people do! Does anyone still remember the 10 spies that were sent with Joshua and Caleb to spy the land? In (Numb 13:1-21,25-33,) Oh,the shame of quitting! No matter the giants you encounter in your life,career,business,academics,marrige or ministry,refuse to allow fear,depression or worry! Remember again that if you want the rainbow,you have to endure the rain! Todays opportunities erase yesterdays failures! It is on record that Lord wellington,after the great victory over Napoleon at waterloo said, our men were not braver than the enemy. The were brave five minutes longer Yes,stay on when every demon in hell is screaming at you to give up,weep,pity yourslef or curse God! The Napoleon Bonaparte later said: The truest wisdom is a resolute determination. It is the stubborn will and resolve never to quite the makes men giants!!
