Nobody at Facebook reads books. Really. Go to your Profile right now, and look at the list of books that FaceBook gladhands you into clicking on, so all your friends will think they know what you read. There were twenty two John Grisham and Tom Clancy books on my list -- and for some overwhelmingly strange reason; I got fully 35 different books of the Bible on my list. All these are the kinds of books that a Facebook programmer who doesnt read books will put on a list that he thinks will appeal to potential advertisers who want to figure out what Ill buy from them. Let me help out all those advertisers, since FaceBook has blown it so badly. Here are a handful of books I have read and liked. Most are Wikipedia links, so you can read some details for yourself. I dont know whether or not you would like them, too, but they are all well-written, important nonTechnical books that you would not waste your time reading.
