Nobody hears the voice that has been swallowed by the wilderness. Cry out as it will, in short sobs or long, agonized shrieks, it passes almost always unheard. I know there are some who would care, if they had time to listen, or see, or feel. But no, life is so short, there is so little time and they have so much else that is more important. I get it. Its not as though there is a soul left here to save, or a human worth caring much about. God knows there is only one on Earth who does care all that much. I havent figured out why. Even so thats still some comfort even though there are precious few words shared each week. I still spend my days and most of my nights alone, in silence. Is silence eternal?
