Nominations for the SCSU awards are officially open. Nominations for: Most Active Club This award goes to the club that has been extremely active on campus and engaging with the student body throughout the year regularly. Best New Club This award goes to the best new club on campus who has been regularly engaging students and the UTSC community. Most Active DSA (Departmental Student Association) This award goes to the DSA that has been extremely active on campus and engaging with the student body throughout the year regularly. President’s Award Awarded to a student that has demonstrated leadership and enthusiasm through involvement in student interests, and who has actively contributed to the overall enjoyment of student life. The student has a strong sense of vision of what student life at UTSC should be and is working towards achieving the goals set out by that vision. Vice President’s Award This award is presented to a person that has contributed greatly to the activities and initiatives of the SCSU Social Justice Club This award shall be presented to the club who has made exemplary efforts in raising awareness around campus about various social justice issues. Staff and Faculty Award This award is in recognition of outstanding contribution to enhancing the quality of student life, advocating on behalf of students at UTSC as well as working with and collaborating on various student initiatives. Outline why you believe this individual/campus group should be chosen for this award in 100 words or less, provide examples, and finally an e-mail or phone number to contact the nominee. The winners will be announced at the SCSU SPRING FORMAL happening Thursday March 27.
