Non sequitur I have the word now and will begin my training for driving the school bus next week. Yep. Not something Id ever thought Id do. But. the schedule is perfect for granny care and actually quite selfishly - for being able to ride my horses during the nicest part of the day!!! and I dont have to drive in bad snow!! Sometimes things just work out in a way you wouldnt have thought of before. The bonus is its the kids I sub for at a wonderful little school - great group. Its better than no paycheck during a time when I HAVE to be available at home. Im kind of excited actually. New washing machine comes Tuesday. Our old ones timer died and though it was probably fixable - we chose another route. Got a maytag h/e top loader which within 2 hours ruined an entire load of my clothes and did not work and had to be manually put from one cycle to another. So back it went! I hope that my clothes will be save-able. Anyway we got a Speed Queen. Its old school. with dials. and it uses plenty of water. and it has a 10 year warranty. Big excitement around here. though being washer-less is a pain in the $#%^!! The grown up daughter of one of my highschool mates is my grandmothers new helper. I feel a little old that my contemporary has a grown up child. However I would like to say that she did a really nice job raising a wonderful young woman who is caring and sweet and the perfect fit for my grandmother. We are so very glad to have her here.
