Nonagon and I have been collaborating on live A/V performances since late 2009. Many years and dozens of shows later, were embarking on a project to document some of our work together. The Startup / Shutdown Sessions are a series of short performances recorded live in the studio with no editing or post-production. Heres the first recording, a visual interpretation of a Rainer Maria Rilke letter accompanied by improvised music of (mostly) unreleased Nonagon material. Please enjoy!
