Because of the petitions of Abraham, the Lord sent His angels to deliver Lot and his family out of Sodom before it was destroyed. Lot and his daughters made it safely out, but his sons refused to leave, and his wife turned back and she became a pillar of salt. Those that focused on their future were safe, those that remained connected to their past were lost. As God continues to bring you closer to Him go forward. Regardless of how well you might regard your past, God has a brighter future for you. Stay focused on Him and where He is taking you, and you will enter into the place of His blessings.
