On Friday, October 3rd at 7:30am by the flag pole there will be a balloon release in honor of suicide prevention. Anyone is welcome to come and donuts will be provided. The senior class T-shirt order forms and money are due this Friday, October 3rd. Each shirt sold raises $7 towards the senior class funds for the canned food drive. Order forms should have been handed out by your M/A teachers. There are extra order forms in the Main Office. Please return the forms and money to your M/A teacher or to Kaitlynn Harvey. Guest Passes for Homecoming are available in the Guidance Office from Ms. Ashburn. The deadline date for turning in the permits will be Wednesday, Oct. 8th. No middle school students or anyone that is a non NPHS student the age of 21 or over are not allowed to any of the NPHS dances. Please remember NPHS students along with any guests are required to have some sort of photo ID to get into the dance and all Fees and Fines have to be paid before you can attend the Homecoming Dance. Any student on the In-Eligibility List when it comes out on Monday, Oct. 6th will not be allowed to by a dance ticket. The PSAT/NMSQT Test will be administered to college-bound juniors and sophomores on Wednesday, October 15th at 8:00am in the High School Media Center. This is the qualifying test for National Merit Scholarship. Students must sign up for this test in the Guidance Office with Mrs. Schumacher. The cost of theis test is $20.00 payable by check when you register. Please make your check out to NPHS. You will receive a bulletin that contains valuable information and practice test questions when you register. Deadline to register is noon, Monday, October 13th. There are a limited number of test bookds so the first 40 registrants will be able to test and there is no refund if you fail to show up for the test.
