Northern Football recently caught up with Erin Nayler, Football Ferns and goalkeeper for Northern Football’s ASB Women’s League side, who has recently announced she will be moving to Norwest United for the 2015 season. We chatted with Erin and Director of Coaching for Norwest United, Chris Acott, who also coaches for Northern Football’s Talent programme. We asked Erin and Chris about their preparation for the 2015 season, what they are looking forward to with the step up to Northern League Women’s Premier division next year, Erin’s experience as a Football Fern including how she draws lessons from her games, some of her biggest challenges and some of her biggest highlights so far, and she shares some advice for our young up and coming keen female football players.
