Not a bad read ... and pretty appropriate reading for members of this group! ... ANOTHER AUSSIE MINING CO. CREATES HAVOC IN SA: Kylie Hamilton is an Australian executive working for the international mining Co. Global Resources. sent to South Africa to investigate a new site on the edge of the Kruger Park, she becomes caught up in the battle over the areas resources. I dont read novels much these days ... preferring biographies and auto-biogs and other non-fiction. But this book was sent to me by a friend who met the author at a book signing in Nelspruit (... the author is an Australian who fell in love with SA on a short trip back in the 90s and now divides his time between Sydney and the African bush) and the subject matter - the battle between an Aussie Mining Co causing destruction to our SA Environment - was too tempting for me not to dive straight in ... Very Wilbur Smithish if u like his writing ... but a thoroughly good read. Ive now read several of Tony Parks books and find him a skillful story teller if not a potential prize winning author.
