Not all 1000 deers are taking over the roads here. I had lived in Japan for 7 years and I have been to this location. It is Nara Park which is not only very big it is also two parks across the road from each other. These deers are what makes this park a tourist attraction. They are said to be the emperors deer. The camera person is only focusing on the outer park and the deer making noises which to us would make you think they are crying or suffering. At this park you can feed the deer wafers and before they take the cracker if you say arrigato wa? they will bow. Even the babies bow. It is said said they bow because they are the emperors deer. When you run out of wafers you simply day nai yo and they walk away, unless they are still hungry then they might tug at your shirt.. People driving through here know all to well there will be many deer along the roads and drive very cautiously. Afterall this place is a well known tourist attraction.
