Not in agreement with much of this. The fact Slim Fast is even on the the bloody list is ridiculous. Half that plan isnt even real food. As Ive said before, you will do well and avoid fads by focusing on: 1) Whole foods vs refined/packaged/processed foods 2) Nutrient dense foods (ie the highest amount of micronutrients per calorie, including vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, fiber, resistant starch, and more. 3) Organic foods 4) Balanced intake of macro and micro nutrients adjusted for your individual needs 5) Avoiding toxic foods 6) Avoiding foods to which you are intolerant Sorry the list above doesnt come with a catchy name, but these simple rules will assure your diet is compliant with the best available research and clinical evidence.
