Not many bands have had an impact on me as much as The Chariot. People who arent fans of heavier music hear the noise or screaming and shut off. How can you listen to this? gets thrown around a lot. I get that but unless you have experienced it live, its near impossible to understand. They have influenced so many of my good friends and their own music. I see so many incredible bands take this influence and are creating a new generation of ferocious live performers. Bands who give every ounce of themselves night after night where ever anyone will come and listen. It gives me hope. Ive never been in a heavy rock or hardcore band, I may never get the chance but thats why I love The Chariot. For that moment when you were stood in front of them, damaging their bodies and screaming their lungs out in a sweaty pursuit to express themselves, you honestly felt like you were a part of the band.
