Not my finest moment tonight... As I was pulling into a parking spot, my mirror bumped the mirror of the car next to me.. For the record, he was parked on the line.. I checked out the mirror and there didnt seem to be any damage so I didnt worry about it... After dinner, I came out to my truck and there was a guy waiting for me.. It was such an ambush that I wasnt thinking clearly and when he asked if I hit his mirror.. I said no.. He proceeds to tell me that as a automotive forensics expert, he knows that I scratched his mirror. I looked at his mirror and said that I didnt see the damage he was talking about and he said that he buffed it out while he waiting on me.. I finally said that I hit his mirror when pulling in. I really did feel bad about originally telling a lie but he caught me so off guard with the way he approached me, it just slipped out.. Sure.. I was completely in the wrong but this guy handled it like a complete douche... Mirrors are designed to rotate when they are bumped.. No damage was done to his car. Would love thoughts from my facebook pals.. If you bumped someones mirror, how would you handle the situation?
