Not official - Jean-Michel Jarre to perform on Kish Island TEHRAN – French composer and performer Jean Michel Jarre has been invited to perform during the Kish Summer Festival, which will be held on the Persian Gulf island from August 6 to September 22. He will reprise the music his father Maurice Jarre composed for “The Message” (1977), Moustapha Akkad’s epic about the birth of Islam, the director of the Music Office of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Piruz Arjmand, said in a press conference on Monday.
