Not often (in my life anyhow) does insurance pay off. 6 months ago, Bill ODonnell from ATI Computer Services 856-0423 advised me that I needed to start backing up files because the useful life of my computer was coming to an end and soon. So I procrastinated. Then maybe three weeks ago, I needed Bill to look at something on the computer for me and he reminded me about the need to back-up and suggested Carbonite again. So we (and I mean he) did it right then and there. Took maybe three days to get everything backed up and in the Carbonite Cloud. It runs in the background all the time and has backed up everything since then too. So, when big crash came, and it did on Sunday morning - I was annoyed at having to buy a new computer - but thats all. No panic, no gnashing of teeth, no hysteria over lost data. I got the new computer today and all my data is streaming back down from the cloud to this incredibly fast and wonderful machine! Bill set it up, took all the pre programmed junk off it, put in the virus and bad stuff protection and Im back in business! Then he fiddled with the Heros Smart TV in the pool house and got that working again too. Thanks Bill! :) Little side story, the guy at Best Buy that helped me lives in Mango Groves but didnt know it! Bonus!!!
