Not really a cheerful, upbeat Christmas Day story, but a thoughtful, well written article on two rappers from different races whose feud lays bare what African Americans have to gain and lose through cultural appropriation. The story is big and deep, and wont find a large audience, but reading this will help explain a couple larger issues to those who might not usually consider them. The musical race and culture issues are also present in blues and jazz, but dont get the same play as those two genres are not as popular. Please ignore and enjoy Christmas as much as you can if youd rather not do any deep thinking today. Towa Beer , Howard Masters, and Evelyn Myrie might nod knowingly when reading this.)
