Not related to Khatri Sir but worth given a shot........ I was enjoying Aloo tikki burger with cole slaw in a café while there was raining heavily outside. Fully drenched girls were continuously coming to that café but with their boyfriends and I didn’t have anything else to do other than enjoying my spicy burger alone. After eating burger, I was eagerly waiting for the rain to stop so that I could go home. I waited for half an hour to rain to stop but when it didn’t stop, I decided to go to home in rain. When I came outside of café, I saw, roads were flooded with water. There was so much water on the road that you couldn’t even ride your bike on the road. So I was about to return to café when I saw a girl who was completely drenched in rain. She was running on road to catch her slippers which were flowing on the road. The slippers were flowing faster. When I was looking at that funny scene, she looked at me and smiled. There was a little embarrassment on her face too. Her smile made me to help her so I jumped on the road and ran to catch her slippers. It wouldn’t take much time for me to catch it because I ran as fast as I used to run in school while playing football in rain. I came back and gave it to her. She was mute and continuously staring into my eyes. Suddenly I remembered that I’d been fantasizing almost the same romantic scene for a long time. While returning it was very hard to come back to restaurant as we had to walk upstream. She was having trouble, walking on the road so I gave her my hand to hold it. She looked into my eyes and gentled it. I looked around and saw people gazing at us. We came back to lobby of café and I asked her to join me in café until the rain stops and she agreed to that. So we started walking towards café but when I stepped my left leg forward, it hurt badly. I folded my jeans and saw a deep wound just below my knee. It was bleeding. When I pressed my palm on it to stop bleeding, it started bleeding even more. She immediately took out a kerchief from her bag and tried to tie it around the wound. But the kerchief was small in length so she held it tightly with her gentle hands. I thought of saying no to her but the wound was burning very badly. She held it for a few minutes. No one had ever cared this much to me except my mom. I was touched by her solicitude. After some time, she removed her pink kerchief which had gone blood red. Bleeding had been stopped but it was still burning. Then we went to that café and stayed for almost an hour. We talked about everything - What we like, what we don’t. After sometime, it had stopped raining but there was still water on road. She called her friends and they came to pick her outside the café. They were waiting for her in lobby so she went to the lobby. I could see her through glasses of café. They talked for a minute and then she looked at me through glasses and waved at me. I waved her back and said ‘’bye’’. Just after waving, I realized that we talked about everything but we didn’t ask each other’s name. I thought of going to the parking but wound was still burning. My stupidity was making me cry. I was thinking, how I would meet her again. After some time, I called my friend to pick me up as I couldn’t ride my bike now. He came after half an hour and called me from the parking and asked me to come there. When I was going to the parking, someone shouted “Where are you going?” I looked back and it was her. She came close to me and told me that she went to buy antiseptic, dressing etc to put on my wound; Hearing that gave me feeling of sheer bliss. Then she took me to lobby and did everything to cure it. After waiting for a long time in parking, my friend came to the lobby, saw her helping me and smiled. I thanked her when she finished wound dressing. When I started walking to the parking with my friend, he asked me about her which made me realize that I didn’t ask her name again. I turned back and saw her coming towards me. “I didn’t ask your name?” I asked her and smiled. “Me too,” She replied with a grin on her beautiful face. “It feels good when a person helps you but it feels the best when a person comes to help you when you’ve lost all hope of seeing that person again.”
