Not saying that Michael Brown should have been fatally shot and killed by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson MO but after seeing that video of him and (yes it is him) committing a strong arm robbery I just wonder why people cannot obey the law. Why do people think they can steal and assault people with no repercussions? Committing a crime isnt exactly the best way to avoid confrontation and the potential of being shot by the police. I dont know but I was taught better. You dont take stuff that isnt yours, you dont assault people, and when the police tell you to do something - you do it. Have some common sense people. As far as the police go, there is great responsibility with power and if the force was not justified then it should not have been used. I believe the officer will likely face charges. For transparency reasons officers need to have cameras on their person and in their cars recording their interactions with people. We would know for certain what happened if this were the case. She said, he said just doesnt cut it. We would know if the officer was assaulted, if Michael Brown tried to get the officers weapon, and if the officer shot Michael Brown while his hands were up in act of surrender.
