Not sure I have the right words for this, but here goes. Would you still be against universal health care if you were the victim of the Boston Marathon bombing or Aurora movie theater shooting. One minute you are minding your own business and the next you are missing a leg. Why should you be faced with hundreds of thousands of dollars in health care bills and the profound alteration to your life? Yes I hear folks from countries with single payer systems complain about it, but their complaints are no different than ours in this country and we pay so much more than them. Time for a chance I think.
