Not sure if his parents got the email I sent this so here is a video of Dale doing some training. Background info with Dale so anyone else who watches understands...Dale was kept in a kennel for a very long time (the beginning of his life) and is now terrified of the outside. Im pretty sure he was also abused in other ways bc of how he acts to certain stimuli. I am not a dog trainer but Im trying to help him out. This video was taken after several laps around the yard on the leash to get rid of his shakiness and nerves. After the video we hung out together off leash with his siblings outside for a few minutes so that he didnt think that home is safe from me (the goal is for him to feel comfortable/confident outside...basically the goal is to get him to be a normal well adjusted dog). His parents have been working hard for him so I wanted to send them a video of his progress. When I first met Dale it was nothing but trembling inside his kennel and refusing to budge to now where we can get him a few feet unrestrained all the way in the back yard before he turns into Speedy Gonzalez trying to get back in the house. Baby steps!
