Not sure if this old elephant died of a heart attack or not but the bottom line is that elephants should not be in circuses. The elephant here, Maedi, was frail and her trunk paralyzed with leg joints ruined after years of standing on concrete. On top of that the circus was not licensed to have elephants and two others have died in the past 18 months in the protection of the circuses brother - the idiot shown in this video clowning around and preventing the elephant from standing back up in the deep enough water. Signing the petition will help to draw attention to the entire issue.
