Not sure of the meaning here. I just write what I feel. You cast your eye Upon a nation In the north Your heart Skips a beat Thinking of the peaceful land And one day you will go To that land Where you will remove Your shoes And quietly walk Into the land And feel the soil Seep up between your toes No one will recognize you For you have masked your features You shake hands with the leader And rub shoulders With those of importance Your desire is to come into the land And dwell for a season Or two But your hearts desire Is not of this land That you now walk upon But on another land That you wish to remove from power Oh, what day do you plan To stand upon the high place And call upon your members To come down upon the land Where your eye has been cast They have no knowledge of your plans Of your thoughts Of your desires Fear you people of the land When the mask will reveal Who has hidden his face From you Fear you people For he has only evil On his mind He has no fear for his life Or those that he will walk over He has no fear for any life That tempts to stand in his way Lord have mercy on that land Have mercy upon its people When they call upon You Hear from Your heavenly throne And come to their rescue My Lord.
