Not the sharpest knives in the drawer: I was voting in the state - TopicsExpress

Not the sharpest knives in the drawer: I was voting in the state elections at the local school last Saturday. A middle aged woman and two young men were there (possibly mother and sons). One of the guys was getting his name marked off the roll. The electoral worker asked him the usual question Have you already voted at this election? The guy said. I think I voted last year!. As I finished, and was putting my ballot papers in the ballot box, the three of them, in adjacent polling booths, were talking to each other. From what I gather, one of them messed up their vote on the Legislative Council paper, by numbering all candidates above the line - not just one as you are supposed to. If people cant vote correctly in the Legislative Council or Senate, its no wonder there are so many weird candidates elected there. By the way, I did notice the woman had the LNP how to vote card on top, presumably she was voting for them. Confirms all the stereotypes about LNP sheeple. lol
