Note of thanks The Shoe Cove CHY 2014 Comm would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make our first ever CHY such a great success. Thanks to everyone who came during our week and we truly hope you enjoyed your time spent at the first ever Shoe Cove CHY event. Thank you to Bugs & Debbie Greene who spent the full week with us filming for the DVD, and doing odd jobs which made everything go so smooth and perfect. Thank you to Eddie Wimbleton who spurred this idea and helped get us started. Thank you to all of our sponsers for this could not have been as great a success without all of your help. Thank you to our businesses in our own community for all of your support. Thank you to both churches here who gave of their services and time when ever something was needed and especially to First United for the use of the basement for all the meals, etc. Thanks to the La Scie stadium, and both schools for the use of their tables and chairs and also to the La Scie Regional Fire Department for every bit of help you gave in any way during this week of events, and also to the La Scie Kinsmen Club for your support. Thanks to all groups who prepared meals and served them. Great big bouquets of thanks go out to every volunteer who gave of their time, whether it was a few minutes, to hours and days it doesnt matter, for without you this event could never have been as successful and great as it was. Words can never express how much your time meant to everyone. Been such a small community we were so blessed with all the help and how smoothly every event ran and that is all due to volunteers, and whether you live here in Shoe Cove or was one of the many who came back home, you too were greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone in our community and surrounding areas for donating and helping when ever we needed something done when we were fundraising. Those fundraising events were sometimes stressful but we needed the funds to pull off such a huge event and we did it, thanks to all of you for your help and support. Thank you so very much to all the members husbands who stood by their side through thick and thin and did so much to make things run so smooth. Thank you ever so much and if we missed anyone then thank you too! Finally thank you to all the members of the first ever Shoe Cove CHY 2014 Comm, for everyone did a part and, although there was indifferences (and so it should have been!), things turned out very well so says the Chair!
