Note to the jerk who left their senior dog to die in the shelter. - TopicsExpress

Note to the jerk who left their senior dog to die in the shelter. Three years ago today I picked her up and brought her home. Three years ago, she was frightened and sad. Three years ago, I put a leash on her and walked her to my car. Her ears perked up. Her tail wagged and her eyes, clouded by cataracts shone brightly. I put her into my car and began to drive her home. She loved the car and wanted to sit in my lap and lick my face. She was a big girl so I made her sit in the back. I quickly realized she would not be adopted because she had fatty tumors, cataracts and was losing her teeth. Even though she was scared, she quickly became part of our family. She loved us all. We never got to celebrate her third year with us because four weeks ago today I took MY beautiful girl to the vet. I held her head in my lap and whispered into her ear that she was a good girl and I loved her. I told her it was okay to cross the rainbow bridge. I hope she waits for me. So, you jerk, you giant enormous ass who dumped your senior dog in the shelter, thank you. She gave me all her love and her devotion. She gave me her smiles and wagging tail. She gave me her heart. In the end, she gave me everything.
