Nothing in this world like being at peace from something youve accomplished, finished or completed and felt relieved and relax about its completion.....Then ur phones rings, buzzes or chimes an alert that say Yo famo such & such just passed it immediately causes you to forget about your accomplishment or thing you were so grateful and relieved about. LOISING IS NEVER A FUN OR HAPPY THING!!! I dont care who you are........ I, My friends, My family and My Hometown (St. Louis, Mo.) lost a dear friend, brother, verteran musician, comdian, jazz music historian, educator, player and legendary man in the name of Tony Simmons....... The game will not be tbe same without him in it.....I spent alot of tume with Tony travelung, in the lab, in rehearsals, collaborating in many projects, events and records and I can say, every experience was an incredible moment of learning, sharing, laughter, agreeing, creating and trusting that always took place. Tony has hired me for maaaaaany gigs, records or events and it was never a dissapointment or waste of my time to play with or for him (no regrets). I hope and pray his family and friends will send him home the correct way bcus his dues has been payd 50 xz over when he was here on earth...... R.I.P The Great Tony Simmons. You are already missed my man. Jigga.
