Nothing is more ridiculous than the debate over whether being a grandmother will soften Hillary Clintons image or make her seem a distracted, softheaded old biddy. Read some anthropology. Grandmothers were often the elders to whom the war chiefs had to report. They were probably also essential to our becoming human in the first place. What a bunch of fools we are in this society to belittle grandmotherhood either positively or negatively. This is an issue quite apart from whether one is pro or anti Hillary.
