Nothing like a snowy NY day to make me think of colorful flowers on this 3rd day of FB Challenge, 3 paintings/5days. I love painting flowers, there are endless choices... But one day, biking through my neighborhood I saw this old rusty silver milk can in the trash...my neighbor Bill kindly hid it behind his hedges for my return! That was my inspiration.... Today I will nominate my talented and wonderful friend Elaine Stonkus. She is my hero as she almost sold every painting in her first solo art show! Weve painted together in Umbria Italy, and Monhegan Island Maine.... I also nominate Jane Cannons Matzuga because she inspires me... First time at her families home I saw beautiful paintings hanging, many of hers...so beautiful... I hope I always want to paint, just like both of these artists!
